When: October 2014
Location: It'Sugar in NoHo, NYC

Quick Recap: Splash took over a candy store that featured four DJs to perform for New York City’s top tastemakers. DJ sets were filmed, edited and released as exclusive content online for fans to enjoy over the Halloween weekend.

Client Objective: To increase Music Default’s subscription rate Splash wanted to create a DJ focused experience for media, influencers, and brands. The goal was for Splash to capture unique content for Music Default’s fans. Then deliver that experience as exclusive content during a popular holiday weekend that would drive fans to the Music Default website for visibility, engagement and conversion.

Differentiating Factors: To break the Halloween party stereotype, we dropped the costumes and focused on the candy bar theme.

The experience featured a curated room of 200+ tastemakers across media, tech, and brands at It’Sugar in NoHo, NYC. Guests enjoyed unlimited access to the candy bar and could purchase other items from the store at a 20% discount promoting commerce for It’Sugar.

Entertainment included DJ sets by Plastic Plates, Brendan Fallis, Nomar, and Penguin Prison. The full experience was filmed, edited and released as exclusive content for fans to enjoy online as exclusive content over the Halloween weekend.
